The successful FP&A Assistant Controller will be responsible for financial and commercial analysis and planning, supporting the Board and the wider business by providing relevant financial information to assist with commercial decision making. Description

The FP&A Assistant Controller will be responsible for:

  • Business Partnering - providing insights and analysis on the business commercial drivers and Brand performance to support commercial decision making
  • Management Information - Analysing actual and forecasted results to provide the Board with financial information to facilitate decision making
  • Planning and forecasting - contributing to the design, implementation and coordination of Corporate reporting and planning standards and processes
  • Support cost centre owners and Board member to manage their fixed costs through reviews and forecasts
  • Implementing changes in Group policies and procedures to ensure the business remains compliant to Corporate Standards

Profile

The successful FP&A Assistant Controller will:

  • Hold a relevant accounting qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA (ACA qualified from Big 4 firm with TS or Corporate Finance is desirable)
  • Practical experience in Accounting/Audit
  • Have a strong commercial mindset and the ability to think outside of the box
  • Have the ability to build relationships and business partner with non-finance individuals
  • Have a strong eye for detail
  • Be a team player
  • Be ambitious and keen to develop there skills, knowledge and career
