Consultancy Associate

An opportunity has arisen for a Consultancy Associate to join our busy consultancy department in LHM Casey McGrath on either a part time or full time basis.  You will be part of a team that advises SME’s and PLC’s with a large range of consultancy projects. This is a unique opportunity for professionals with an audit background or a qualified accountant or accounting technician looking to transition into Consultancy / Corporate Finance. We will also consider part qualified individuals with relevant experience. 

The role is an interesting and varied one and encompasses large scale consultancy projects as well as small once off projects.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: 

• Due diligence
• Financial modelling
• Forensic accounting including report writing
• Bank funding proposals
• Valuations
• Company secretarial matters
• Planning, monitoring and completion of accounts preparation assignments for a small portfolio of clients
• Insolvency assignments
• Advisory audits
• Provision of financial & advisory support to clients 
• Working with existing clients to develop new business opportunities

Position requirements: 

• Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant with relevant experience.
• Financial statement or accounts preparation experience essential.
• Strong word and excel skills essential. 
• Sage accounts and Sage 50 experience essential. 
• Company Secretarial experience desirable. 
• Have worked with a diverse portfolio of clients. 

• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as run their own assignments. 
• Strong organisational skills required and ability to meet client deadlines a must. 
• Ability to manage own workflow and diary management. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
