Join a dynamic, well-established firm of Chartered Certified Accountants and business advisers as an Accounts and Audit Manager, based near Maidenhead and Slough. The role will predominantly be accounts focused with around 10 audit clients in the portfolio you will be responsible for managing.

The ideal candidate would be ACCA/ACA qualified with a few years' post qualified experience and be ready to step into a role of this seniority. The ideal candidate would somebody who is almost eligible or who has already qualified for a practicing certificate with ACCA, so they could be appointed an RI for the audit side of things and take complete control.

They are looking for somebody to come in and take over the client relationships of the portfolio they will inherit, and due to the size of the firm, Managers in the business are required to be hands-on as well as managing so you would be required to complete accounts, audits etc as well as monitoring and managing a small team.

Established over 75 years ago as a single regional office, the firm has developed and grown, currently home to around 20 staff. The sectors they focus on are fairly broad including Engineering, Freight and Haulage given the nearby airport, and they have a large number of Estate Agents, acting as the firm's speciality. Their clients have turnovers which range up to £30m.
