Management Accountant

The role will provide essential support to the Finance controller and is a key position within the location's finance function. A strong management accountant will deputise for the Finance controller.

Management Accountant in a growing SME, based in Surrey

Description

• Assisting with the completion of the monthly financial statements and management packs

• Income Statement expenses and variance analysis

• Revenue reconciliation and cost of sales analysis

• Assist with the forecasting and budgeting process

• Maintaining and reconciling Balance Sheet accounts

• Inventory management

• Fixed Assets management

• Weekly, daily and monthly location and divisional reporting

• National Statistics and Quarterly VAT returns for submission to Group Finance

• Producing weekly cash forecasts for Group Finance

• Purchasing cards and Corporate cards administrator for the location

• Working capital management

• Supporting the Finance controller and Group Finance

• Assist with external audit and internal audit queries, as well as the production of statutory packs

Profile

• Postholder should be CIMA or ACCA, ACA qualified

• Previous experience in an SME or Manufacturing environment would be advantageous

• Experience of managing teams or mentoring would be advantageous

• Excellent inter personnel skills are required due to the amount of communication necessary at all levels of the business.

Job Offer

£45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus
