Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. A growing business based north of Cambridge are looking for a newly qualified Finance Manager to support the companies growth.
Reporting to the general manager you will play a pivotal role in helping shape the organisation moving forward from a financial standpoint. The company have history of staff retention and have taken on new staff throughout the year due to continuous growth.
The role will focus on a number of tasks from producing monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, cashflow management and associated variance analysis. The position will support the current finance assistant while looking at opportunities to bring other finance functions such as payroll in-house away from external sources. As the company grows the role will evolve into more of a reporting and process improvement position while maintaining a hands-on approach to finance with the opportunity of building a strong finance department.
The successful applicant will be ACCA/CIMA qualified with prior experience within industry, you will have exposure to a number of accounting functions from transactional work through to full management accounts with a keen eye for detail. you will have developed your career steadily and looking for the 'next step' enabling you to utilise skills gained in a more senior position. As the business grows the scope of the role offers natural progression into a Financial Controller position.
Salary £40,000-£45,000
