Project Manager

Swilly Traffic Solutions Australia is a private traffic management company based in Sydney. Due to rapid company growth and development, we require an experienced and capable project manager to join the team in to successfully manage and deliver projects valued from small to medium size projects.

You will be working closely with the clients and on-site staff providing direct support and assistance in project implementation. Reporting directing to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the whole duration of the project, ensuring all deadlines and client expectations are met on time.

Role Responsibilities;

• Overseeing and Managing the whole duriatuon of the projects
• Manage and liaise with team members and subcontractors
• Coordinate with all consultants, authorities and council
• Managing and coordinating all planning and scheduling activities in compliance with construction programs.
• Developing and maintaining good relationships with client representatives, consultants, contractors and the general public.
• Review the work progress on a daily basis
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• A good work ethic, highly organised and diligent.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Advanced understanding of Google drive, software including Gantter Project Management and Microsoft Office programs
• Leadership and Management Certificate IV or Diploma
• Certificates in Traffic Management
• Construction White Card
• Occupational First Aid Certificate (current)
• 2-5 years industry experience as project manager and work throughout projects.
• Solid understanding of BCA requirements and Australian building standard
• Problem solving skills
• Drivers licence and a vehicle to drive to meetings and construction sites.
