Following a period of impressive growth we are assisting a market leading organisation to appoint an experienced Reconciliations Clerk, to join their team based in their modern Runcorn based head office, on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for reconciling suppler invoices to agreed departmental deadlines. You should be an individual with advanced Excel skills, with excellent attention to detail who can work quickly without compromising accuracy.
The Reconciliations Clerk will take responsibility for the following duties:
- Requesting depot staff perform stock checks to verify if the stock booked into the warehouse system
- Raise credit claims where invoiced prices are incorrect
- Claim rebated from suppliers
- Escalate issues to Senior management
- Review unmatched delivery notes and reports
- Liaise with suppliers over pricing discrepancies
Experience Required:
- Proven previous experience dealing with complex, high volume reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills which will include Pivots, V-lookups and Formula Building
- Strong academic background
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good problem solving abilities
