Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently looking for a commercially minded Interim Financial Analyst/Planner for our client based near to Nuneaton. This role is available due to an upcoming secondment and will suit someone who is seeking a role where you will have the opportunity to interact with senior stakeholders both internally and externally. The role is to start no later than the first week of June and will initially be for a period of 6 months. Working with the wider finance team the role will support all relevant teams that are impacted by change whether this be small or large projects. The role will provide financial support to one of their biggest and high-profile customers so will work closely with senior finance, sales, the end client and group stakeholders.

The Role
As the Interim Financial Analyst, you will have full ownership of numbers and will focus on developing and improving the current reporting as well as the following:
- Full co-ordination and continual tracking of actuals vs budget
- Cost challenge reporting
- Ensuring all change projects are correctly matched and actioned accordingly
- Project P&L and balance sheet review
- Monthly financial review and reporting on approved budget and project spend to date
- Cashflow forecasting
- Quarterly budgeting and forecasting
- Month end reporting
- Work closely with a variety of key stakeholders spread across, project managers, change managers, finance, commercial and IT
The Candidate
As the successful Interim Financial Analyst, you will:
- Have the ability to prioritise an ever-changing work load
- Work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Experience of SAP would be desirable
- A strong and proficient user of Microsoft Excel.
- Have experience of working closely with other departments to improve operational knowledge and ensure accuracy of data
- To openly challenge peers with a view to driving both short term and long-term benefits to the bottom line.
