This is an exciting opportunity to join the Network Operations team in a critical leadership role within the Passenger Control Centre.
Based in the Network Control Centre and reporting to the Head of Passenger Control Centre, you will support the delivery of strategic objectives and operational performance goals through the effective management of all elements within the Passenger Control Centre.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
Lead, coach, develop and motivate your team within the Passenger Control Centre including the Customer Control Leaders, Communication Improvement Officers and Centralised Customer Announcers during day of operations and network disruption,
Ensure disruption management plans are initiated in accordance with Metro's policies and procedures, while providing updates to key stakeholders on matters impacting passenger experience,
Coordinate all external communication through channels such as our website/mobile app/Twitter/station announcements/on-train announcements and internal communication to the wider organisation, in line with Metro's communication policies, guidelines and best practice,
Manage contract compliance of suppliers including validation of associated reporting.
About you:
You are a natural leader with proven ability to coach, develop and motivate your team,
You will demonstrate a proven ability to communicate effectively at a senior and executive level, as well as internal and external stakeholders through a variety of channels,
You will come into this role with a passenger centric background - ideally with extensive experience in rail operations,
You will have a natural drive to deliver innovative solutions and continuous improvement in a challenging and highly pressured operational environment.
