The Opportunity:
Working within a part of Metro's newly formed Operations Integration business unit you will quickly get to know your stakeholders and colleagues and begin reviewing and creating resource and facilities management plans for key projects such as the metro tunnel, the introduction of high capacity trains and the extensive network wide crossing removal initiatives.
The resource plans that you and your team develop and maintain will encompass around 1300 people spanning operational areas such as train drivers and signalers. In order to achieve this you will need to take advantage of your advanced leadership and communication skills to collaborate across departments and roles such as Finance, Project Managers and Learning and Development. About you:
We are looking for someone who has excellent hands on Resource Planning, Leadership and relationships management skills.

You will be excited by the opportunity to leverage your experience in order to write your own ticket working in a newly formed business unit, hitting the ground running.
You are inspired by the opportunity of creating resource management integration and budget setting practices working closely with Operations, Finance and Project teams.
Ideally you will have a bachelor's degree or significant relevant experience that may include leading teams across strategic workforce planning, project management or finance. You will have excellent written and communication and are able to negotiate and influence others.
