Accounts Assistant - Successful Legal Firm

Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

Our client is actively seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to play a truly integral part in their high-functioning, supportive Finance team. This position would be well suited to someone who is inquisitive, organised, works well under pressure and can demonstrate great attention to detail.

Your Role:

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll report to our client’s dynamic Financial Controller and play a key role in the delivery of efficient reporting and financial administration.

Responsibilities will include:

- Complete credit control activities for the Euro ledger

- Undertake sales ledger administration and cash posting

- Set up new customer accounts

- Transfer data between systems

- Monitor the accounts email inbox

- Support the purchase ledger with supplier invoices and supplier statement reconciliations

About You:

To be considered as an Accounts Assistant, you will need:

- Experience within an Accounts department

- A strong telephone manner and communication skills

- Strong IT literacy, particularly using Microsoft Excel

- Impeccable attention to detail

It would be great if you had experience of credit control and double entry book keeping, however full training will be provided. Experience of working in a professional services environment would also be highly beneficial, but this isn’t essential.
