Butler Rose is pleased to be supporting a leading employer in the local area with the recruitment of a Management Accountant initially on an 18 month fixed term contract with options to go permanent.

The purpose of this position is to offer strategic, financial support to all stakeholders involved. It is essential that you are able to demonstrate strong knowledge of budgets and financial data as well as able to manipulate large amounts of data.

Interpersonal skills are key within this position as there is a large element of business partnering involved. This role, therefore, requires excellent communication skills both written and spoken. You must be able to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Duties will include but not be limited to;

* Model budget setting
* Manipulating large amounts of data, presenting the information to the FD
* Development of management information and processes
* Production of Management Accounts
* Budget setting and explanation to non-finance business partners
* Review and streamline the current system where possible
* A variety of ad-hoc duties will be involved within this position
