Cambridge, Cambridgeshire- A global organisation on the outskirts of Cambridge are looking for a Financial Controller to support the UK entity.
Reporting to the Finance Director you will be joining a business who has seen growth over the past 2 years and encourage development within the business with a number of internal success stories.
The role will take on a hands on approach to complex issues within the UK function while overseeing a small team. tasks will include month end close, take ownership of group reporting and associated reports, in-depth control of cashflow with budget/forecasting. This position will play a pivotal role in suggesting changes to improve team processes and efficiency between division, controls and setting up new policies in-line with relevant reporting standards.
As the finance function develops further you will support and influence how the department will look in the future alongside other senior management.
The successful applicant with be a qualified accountant who enjoys a fast moving environment and experience within a controls setting. This would suit an individual who is looking for the 'next step' and wanting to learn from a supportive FD while given the autonomy to manage their own workload.
Salary £50,000- £55,000
