The Management Accountant role provides essential support to the Finance controller and is a key position within the location's finance function. A strong management accountant will deputise for the Finance controller.

A small-medium sized manufacturing business, based in large modern offices in W. Molesey area with free parking provided and access via public transport.
Description
The Management Accountant will act as departmental head in the absence of the Finance controller over the other department members. The Management accountant will have responsibility for the management of the AP and AR function.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Management Accounts responsibilities:
- Assisting with the completion of the monthly financial statements and management packs
- Income Statement expenses and variance analysis
- Revenue reconciliation and cost of sales analysis
- Assist with the forecasting and budgeting process
- Maintaining and reconciling Balance Sheet accounts
- Inventory management
- Fixed Assets management
- Weekly, daily and monthly location and divisional reporting
- National Statistics and Quarterly VAT returns for submission to Group Finance
- Producing weekly cash forecasts for Group Finance
- Purchasing cards and Corporate cards administrator for the location
- Working capital management
- Supporting the Finance controller and Group Finance
- Assist with external audit and internal audit queries, as well as the production of statutory packs
- Ad hoc analysis for the MD and Financial Controller
Profile
The ideal candidate for the Management Accountant role will be;
- Finalist or Part qualified CIMA (or ACCA / ACA)
- Have Management Accouting experience
- Manufacturing experience is highly desireable (but not essential)
- ideally have Sage 200 (not essential)
- Stock experiecne is highly desireable
- Supervisory experience is desireable
Job Offer
The Management Accountant role can pay between £40-45,000 + 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
Hours: 9 - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
