Finance Manager - Co Down

MCS Group has an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified finance professional to join a leading local business in the post of Finance Manager. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the appointed candidate will be responsible for leading a team of finance staff who produce management accounts, manage the payroll function, banking and stock management in addition to overseeing the accounts payable and credit control functions. You will be involved in business strategy and review of current processes, efficiency and review of productivity. To be successful in this position you will be a Qualified Accountant with relevant post qualification experience and currently working at a senior level, have a high level of commercial acumen and the gravitas to liaise comfortably across all level of the business. Responsibilities include - production of management accounts, weekly and monthly reporting, cash flow projections, analysis on business performance, liaising with stakeholders on company performance, management of accounting services, ensure compliance throughout the financial processes and policy, assist in development of accounts systems, development of the finance team to include coaching, mentoring and performance improvement. The Person Qualified Accountant with relevant post qualification experience (Non Qualified Considered if Experience is extensive) Excellent understanding of accounting processes and a strong understanding of internal controls Proficient in computer systems and MS Office, specifically Excel Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills Ability to work independently, delegation skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skill Work to tight deadlines and be able to manage time effectively.
