Job Description
  • Responsible for the execution of the bank wide client data remediation plan which is incepted by 3 major pillars
    • Pre-existing Client Data Quality elements from BAU activities across all functions
    • New Client Data Quality elements arising from production system defects
    • External Data Sources which has yet to be migrated into the production banking system
  • This may include future regulations and business requirement, where the data has to be repositioned to cater for additional needs.
Key responsibilities
  • Create the client data dictionary that will establish governance and control over client data elements
  • Execution of the remediation activity for all elements according to the assigned streams for which you will need to work closely with the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) of various functions, not limited to only the below:
    • Working with Technology to re-align/supplement data
    • Working with Front Office to collect the documentation (thereafter execute documentation review per the Bank's AML/CFT policy), to re-align/supplement data
    • Working with Operations to locate source documents in the bank's documentation depository, to re-align/supplement data
    • Working with Compliance to review client profile, to re-align/supplement data
  • Identify gaps in processes that leads to the data quality elements
  • Status tracking to ensure remediation exercise perform within timeline


Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Possess at least a diploma qualification
  • Experience in the private banking industry with account maintenance and structure an advantage
  • Relevant experience in data management an advantage
Skills:
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of the team.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in SQL, VBA and Business Intelligence would be a definite advantage.
