About The Role
Service Stream''s Fixed Communications division are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Technology and Continual Improvement team. Reporting directly to the Technology and Continual Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with our Fixed Communications and Group Business Information Services (GBIS) project teams to elicit, analyse, translate, and document business requirements to allow for the development of new features, applications and technology solutions. This position is based at our Collins Street head office (VIC), and offered on a Permanent, Full Time basis.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate workshops in order to acquire and document suitable business requirements for all stakeholders
Provide technical analysis of business requirements
IT System maintenance and development reporting (work in progress, backlog, upcoming releases, sprint planning)
Documentation assistance (application installations, operating procedures and user instructions)
Creation and handover of operational models, processes and documentation
Explore and evaluate technology advances
Identify, investigate and collaborate with GBIS to implement solutions to resolve operational challenges
Assist with implementation of new functionality in IT systems and software products
Skills and Experience
Strong experience in Technical and Business Analysis
Tertiary degree in Information Systems/Technology, or Business Management is highly desirable but not essential
Advanced analytical skills
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Advanced problem solving and decision making ability
Customer service focus and well-developed stakeholder management skills
