Our client is a forerunner in the retail industry, with a strong presence across the APAC region. Due to their steady expansion, they are searching for a Financial Controller to join the team to look over the Hong Kong market.

about the job

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be a key player in managing the overall accounting and finance functions of the business. As the Financial Controller, you will liaise with external accounting departments to focus on business planning, and collaborate with the regional departments on analysis to help increase the growth across the region. You will work directly with various teams to finalize strategic projects, and to produce management reports, including forecast and budget reports for the business. Also, you will be involved with business partnerships with management to present recommendations for decisions made during financial projects. You will be liaising with external auditors on producing audit reports, and you will be ensuring the compliance with all of the regulations of the business.

skills and experiences required

• Degree in accounting/finance with professional qualifications
• Minimum 8 years of experience
• Qualified member of CPA or CA required
• Strong knowledge of the products/retail industry
• Fluent in English and Cantonese
• Good communication with high articulation skills
