C2C (Customer to Cash) Business Analyst - Retail Client - Finance Transformation

My client is a leading name in Retail who are currently undertaking a Finance Transformation programme which is the largest of its kind in UK retail history. We currently recruiting on their behalf for a Business Analyst for Customer to Cash (C2C) Reporting.

Working closely with the Reporting workstream Lead, the C2C Reporting Business Analyst will be responsible for driving the end-to-end transformation finance reporting within the C2C stream of the Finance Transformation.

The role will

• Capture reporting requirements for various Finance Projects within C2C.
• Design and build of operational reports
• Developing test plans and running UAT of reports
• Adhering to the overall deployment schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operational Reporting Design - Collect the reporting requirements for Sales Reconciliation and Leases, draft Functional Design Documents and Oversee the build and deployment of reports
• Liaise with Process teams within the project to ensure operational, financial and performance reporting requirements are captured and logged. Follow up on any open issues
• Ensure that Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies are raised early, logged and maintained. Liaise with central PMO to ensure visibility of project and compliance to project management requirements
• Create weekly status reports and additional workstream communications, detailing initiatives, recommendations, progress, trends and results
• User Acceptance Testing - Develop plans and Test Scripts and obtain relevant test data to ensure reports are tested.

Skills and Experience

• Good understanding of the broad finance function and core finance processes within a Retail environment.
• Financial qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
• Experience of Customer to Cash (C2C) processes such as Accounts Receivable
• Experience in Capturing and documenting Reporting Requirements
• Understanding of Finance Systems - Ideally, Oracle Fusion and EPM Suite
• Experience in Challenging Business in requirements (EG - is real time reporting really required?)
• Experience of working to tight deadlines to ensure that requirements are captured and documented successfully
• Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) are critical
• Experienced at negotiating, influencing and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Demonstrated initiative, enthusiasm and an ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely and accurate manner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to operate successfully in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
• Experience in organisation design and change management
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate, influence and work effectively with a cross-section of functional areas
• Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with business sponsors and technology teams
