Assistant Management Accountant
Manchester City Centre
£25,000 - £30,000 plus study support
Expansion has created an opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant who is looking to develop their skills whilst working alongside a qualified accounting team in producing month end management accounts.
The company has won numerous awards for both services provided and being recognised as a leading training provider.
The company offers an excellent study package for either ACCA or CIMA qualifications and the position will allow you to work closely with a fully qualified management team who will be on hand to support you with the next phase of your professional development.
The successful candidate will be looking for the next step in their career and will have already gained some experience in a finance environment but will feel ready to broaden their experience in line with their studies.
Key Skills Required:
*Assisting in the production of monthly accounts
*Reconciliation of accruals and prepayments to balance sheet
*Assisting with the monthly profit and loss accounts
*Responsible for processing payments for refunds
*Posting journals to general ledger for related balance sheet accounts activity
*Responsible for running VAT statements
*Preparing any other ad-hoc analysis and reports as required
