Finance Business Partner The purpose of this role is to work alongside the business in offering financial advice on new business opportunities and providing ad hoc business support. The successful applicant will work with the senior management team to ensure Finance considerations are appropriately addressed in all new opportunities and projects, and provide financial advice to senior management to support the decision-making process on new projects Responsibilities Technical requirements: -Act as trusted business partner to the Allianz Care Senior Management -Team, working on new transactions / projects and other ad hoc requests Build robust process around Finance transaction and business project review process, including: -Working with Sales and Underwriting to develop key sales and pricing assumptions, including challenging their assumptions -Working with Actuarial to review experience on targeted business, to ensure it is in line with future assumptions -Working with Finance Projects Team, to ensure operational aspects of new transactions have been appropriately considered -Present proposals to Allianz Care executives -Work with Expense Controller to develop expense assumptions that should be applied to new projects -Develop document to be used for all new transactions, including key assumptions, results and risks -Develop financial models to enable scenario testing on new transactions -Ensure high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in the preparation of all outputs -Enhance processes and procedures to strengthen the control environment around production of results -Promote high Customer Service and Quality ethos on the team and in the company as appropriate. Promote both the Finance department values and the Company values and the `I make a difference` initiative -The role will also be expected to provide support to the rest of the Planning & Controlling team to enable them to meet current reporting requirements Experience Required -Qualified accountant with at least five years` post-qualification experience in a Financial Planning, Risk or Business Support role -Insurance industry background, with experience of working on cross-functional projects -Strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage relationships, both internal and external -Ability to influence senior management team on financial and non-financial issues -Ability to build financial models to support business decision-making -Excellent verbal and written communication skills; -Proven experience in delivering financial results under tight deadlines; -Strong financial and analytical skills; -Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen; -Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; -Ability to work to strict deadlines on particular projects -Ability to manage a busy workload -Ability to work well as part of a team -Ability to influence/support and build relationships -High standards of accuracy and attention to detail -Strong leadership qualities with ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders in multi-disciplinary teams -Strong communication skills (verbal and written) -Ability to work effectively within a team environment -Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines -Honesty and Integrity -Customer focused The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in growing multicultural company committed to empowering its employees and furthering their development.
