Java Developer

We're looking for a Java Developer to join us. Someone with hands on Java experience. Ideally, we're looking for our next colleague to have a relevant degree to the role. You'll join our developers in Sandyford and work closely with the wider tech squad in Manchester.  Our cross functional squads are typically made up of product and delivery leads, developers (Java/JavaScript), UX designers, test and data analysts. Working in a fast paced, Agile environment means that collaboration is key. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop not only your technical skills but your coaching and mentoring abilities as well. You will work closely with our development team and help grow their Java knowledge and aid their learning.  The Candidate We're looking for a Java Developer with an excellent understanding and working knowledge of Java. Experience with web applications and RESTful services. Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or ReactJS would be helpful too. Excitement for the latest trends in application design, combined with a pragmatic approach to consistency and simplicity.
