The 4* Mespil Hotel has a fantastic opportunity for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our fast paced kitchen. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar position and have a genuine passion for food.   Key Responsibilities:  Preparing and serving the highest quality of food to a high standard. Ensuring dishes are prepared in a timely fashion. Assisting in the training of Commis Chefs. Assisting with daily ordering of foodstuffs. Inputting on menu planning. Ensure excellent food hygiene practice is observed in the entire food chain from storage through to preparation and service. Ensure HACCP compliance within the kitchen, restaurant and bar. Ensure the kitchen equipment is in working order; report any maintenance issues to your supervisor.   The ideal candidate for this position: Must be passionate about food and have a desire to learn and advance in their career Must have a minimum of one year's previous experience at Chef de Partie level, or three years' experience at Commis Chef level Must be standards driven with excellent attention to detail Must have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment Must have a good command of the English Language Should have detailed knowledge of HACCP Should have relevant professional qualification Must be flexible with regards to hours, and be available to work full time, year round
