Finance Manager Job, Global Company, Athlone, Co Westmeath Overview: Applicants are invited for the permanent opportunity of Finance Manager under the direction of the Associate Director, Financial Reporting. Responsible for completion of corporate and technical accounting transactions associated with the Company's legal entities. Your new job: · Management of all revenue recognition technical transactions associated with ASC 606 and IFRS 15. · Support global projects including implementation of Procure to pay platforms, which may involve occasional travel to other company locations. · Manage the financial reporting operations team at the Athlone site, including managing the monthly accounting close process, assist in the preparation of financial statements for the Company's Irish entities, preparation of the annual Irish statutory accounts under IFRS, and support with internal and external audit. · Provide support to the Tax department in transfer pricing, withholding tax and yearly tax filings. Is this job for you? This is a great job for a motivated Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with 5-8 years PQE. To excel in the job, you will utilise your strong technical expertise in financial reporting & people management in a global environment, and your exposure to / understanding of the ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition guidelines. R equirements include: Demonstrated experience in Internal Control, Financial Accounting & Reporting, Cost Accounting and People Management experience. Evidence of Team Leading experience in career to date. Demonstrated knowledge / experience of working with SAP / HYPERION ERP Systems. Desirable skills and experience: Strong understanding of Manufacturing & Supply Chain processes (Procurement, Delivery, Warehousing of materials, Inventory Control, and Distribution).
