Ad Hoc duties as specified by the Venue Accountant. To be competent using all company computer systems; Hotsoft, Sage, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and any other system specific to the venue To undertake any reporting as requested by the Accountant. In the absence of the Accountant to attend meetings as and when necessary The ideal candidate for this position will have: knowledge of income audit and credit card reconciliation. knowledge of general cashiering. knowledge of VAT returns, bank reconciliation & Journal entries knowledge of accounts receivable and payable knowledge of office administration and procedures knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures proficiency in relevant computer software 1-2 year's accounts receivable/payable and general accounting experience within the hospitality sector. Requirements: The ideal candidate will demonstrate accounting experience, preferably in a hospitality sector. Accounts qualifications preferable Organised and motivated An ability to work under pressure and to reporting deadlines with a flexible attitude to working hours
