Milk the Cow is a licensed fromagerie specialising in artisan cheese and boutique beverages
We are seeking a talented and inspirational Restaurant Manager to lead a team of passionate hospitality professionals in our St Kilda fromagerie. We also seek an experienced Supervisor in our Carlton venue.

RESTAURANT MANAGER - ST KILDA:
This full time position requires a strong commitment to understanding the business structure and execution of our signature brand.
The successful applicant must have;
- A love of cheese!
- At least three years' experience in a similar position.
- A mind for business.
- Passion for exceptional customer service and the ability to go above and beyond the guests expectations.

- A can do " say yes until you have to say no" attitude.
- A love of food & beverage and an interest in current food and beverage trends -both locally and internationally.
- Drive to deliver our signature brand.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, customers and suppliers.
- A positive disposition and a warm and friendly demenour.
- Self-motivated and hard working.
- Current RSA
- Outstanding time management skills
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Management of in house Point of Sale system.
- Regular monitoring and training of supervisors, floor staff and kitchen hands.
- Understanding,with operational knowledge, the fundamentals of efficient Restaurant Management such as staff recruitment/ training/ rostering/ mentoring/ cashiering/ and financial acumen.
- Adhere to key performance targets such as wage costs, average spends etc.
- Perform weekly beverage stocktake and maintain COG percentage
RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR - CARLTON:
We also seek an experienced Floor supervisor to join our enthusiastic team in a full time position.
Experience working with cheese highly favoured but not compulsory, though a love of cheese is as well as:
- A can do " say yes until you have to say no" attitude.
- At least 2 years experience in a hospitality environment.

- Excellent communication skills with staff, customers and suppliers.
- A positive disposition and a warm and friendly demenour.
- Self-motivated and hard working.
- Current RSA
- Outstanding time management skills
These roles will be hands on, including evenings and weekends. The role will involve ensuring service standards are at their highest; that the team is happy and importantly, that all our guests have a wonderful experience.
