Accounts/Tax Associates

A Tax and Accountancy Firm urgently require Accountant/VAT Associate (female staff preferably). This role is ideal for those who are at the beginning of their career and wish to get experience in UAE VAT, Accounting and finance. We will consider candidate with the below experience and qualification only. Experience 2-3 years preferably in an audit firm/ contracting or manufacturing (not more or less). Education Accounting, Finance & Taxation. Preferably ACCA/CA part or fresh qualified. Accounting Software Candidate must have working experience of any ERP package preferably Quick book and Tally. Language Must be fluent in English (written and oral) with other languages such as Hindi/Urdu/Arabic/Philippines etc. MS Office Candidate must have great skill of computer. Experience in VAT implementation or impact analysis (Added advantage) Working Hours 9 am to 6 pm Sunday to Thursday, Saturday timing depends on work load. Hours can be adjusted as per selected candidate wish. Salary Our budget is AED 2 to 3k depending on candidate qualification and experience. Job detail description as follows Researching VAT laws to create and maintain the tax rules. Looking after VAT Registrations, VAT return filings, Financial Statements etc. Dealing with clients for day to day matters, it may require visiting client premises to do their bookkeeping work. Providing subject matter expertise to various business. Prepare VAT returns and related VAT compliance filings for clients. Duties will include extracting and reconciling relevant data from reports, liaising with clients tax and finance teams and preparing draft VAT return calculations. Assisting with other tax and accounts related project work e.g. maintaining the tax calendar, and other tax related projects as appropriate and subject to capacity.
