- Serve as a mouthpiece and a consultation body for discussions with key stakeholders in the sector

We seek the services of a Finance and Administration Officer
Job Title: Finance and Administration Officer
Job Location: Ashongman Estate, Greater Accra
Reporting To: Executive Secretary
Job Summary
- The Finance and Administration Officer reports to the Executive Officer and is responsible for providing effective and efficient financial and administrative services. This position is subject to a probation period of 6 months
Job Description
Work under the supervision of the Executive Secretary in line with accounting policies, procedures and standards to enable the company keep records of all its financial transactions.
- Make entries of all financial transactions in the General Ledger ensuring the accuracy of the information and proper filing of all supporting documents in line with agreed procedures and standards
- Ensure the timely preparation of reports and accounts such as Trial Balance and daily balances of accounts
- Prepare the annual operating and capital budget for the Association
- Operate petty cash, ensuring that all payment vouchers are duly authorized, recorded and reconciled regularly
- Assist the external auditors audit the account records of the Association
- To provide complete support to the management of the Association
- Ensure that all the corresponding that takes place within and outside the office are properly managed
- To dispatch all reports and documents to all the relevant people and stakeholders on time
- Fix appointments for the Executive Secretary and also have to remind him/her about the commitments
- Working as a liaison officer between management and staff
- Prepare important letters that are circulated in the office
- Compiling all the daily reports from the various departments and serve as minutes recorder of all staff engagements and file them appropriately
- Ensure that there is enough office supplies like paper, pens, ink etc. at all times
- Should know all the office filling systems
- Any other duties assign to by the Executive Secretary
Qualification and Requirements
- Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar role as described in the Duties and Responsibilities above
- Good understanding of accounting principles including accrual accounting, reconciliations, general ledger journals and general office maintenance
- A high level of knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and Publisher
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Outlook
- Experience in general reception duties
