We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will be able to work to tight deadlines and be the point of contact for numerous clients. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing an allocated portfolio of clients to ensure all jobs are completed in a timely fashion. 
• Planning and scheduling audit assignments in conjunction with the partners including the allocation  of appropriate staff and available resources. 
• Completion of statutory audits in accordance with International Standards in Auditing and ensuring files are consistent with the firm's standard.
• Liaising with clients to discuss and resolve any audit issues as they arise.
• Completion of financial statements in accordance with FRS 102. 
• Monthly and year-end accounts preparation using a variety of accounts packages 
• Manage requesting records, discussing deadline dates and client queries etc.
• Preparation of management accounts
• Identify potential opportunities to provide additional value added services to the client
• Compiling management reports.
• Preparation of cash flows and business plans

Candidate profile:

• Qualified Accountant and member of professional accountancy Body with experience in practice environment. 
• Highly organised individual with ability to prioritise
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent drive, commitment and enthusiasm
• Ability to recognise client requirements and to respond to these.
• Capability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
• Commercially focused with good practice development skills
• Excellent excel and analytical skills
• Highly IT literate with ambitions to maximise its potential and implement improvements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
