Qualified Accountant required for Financial Accountant position with growing management consultancy business.

ACCA or ACA qualified this role may would suit a first time mover from practice or with Financial Accounting experience

Description

Financial Accountant responsible for:

Ultimate responsibility for accurate accounting records

Ensure all accounting balances are correct and reconciled

Deliver high quality financial reporting and management accounts

Report to and liaise with all budget holders

Deliver reporting pack to finance director

Optimise and develop the finance systems and processes

Prepare and lead annual audit process

Prepare and file relevant tax returns and other compliance filings

Manage bank balances and cash flow forecasting

Work-stream lead managing the general ledger elements of a new ERP system implementation

Position based in Maidenhead

Profile

The Successful Candidate for the Financial Accountant role will be ACCA/ACA qualified

Tenure with a business recently

Strong understanding of accounting principles

Experience of implementing systems

Strong attention to detail

Have excellent oral and written communication skills

Self-starting problem solver with drive, optimism who is not phased by managing ambiguity

Evidence of building strong stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally with 3rd party vendors

Ability to prioritise effectively, meet tight deadlines and maintain quality

Team player

Excellent skills in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
