Real Estate Finance Origination

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ To originate property debt finance transactions through own net work ▪ Assist in managing real estate transactions originated by branches for terms closing with clients and credit approval and disbursement. ▪ Set up a broker channel for origination of real estate debt finance deals. ▪ Explore bridging finance opportunities and portfolio acquisitions ▪ To review and analyse property operating performance; ▪ To appraise the asset management and business plans of target properties to be financed; ▪ To evaluate property specific risk and must be proficient in excel modelling; ▪ To assess the net income position and the implications on cash flow, value and exit position; ▪ To build, interpret and manipulate financial models to evaluate the security of financing arrangements; ▪ To be responsible for the valuation due diligence during the transaction execution process; ▪ To write credit applications under tight deadlines and lead the credit process; ▪ To address any queries or requests raised by the credit risk department, the credit committee, and the business line; ▪ To prepare deal proposals and term sheets; ▪ To provide commercial property investment and development market situations in UK.

EXPERIENCE: Required: Credit Fundamentals, Debt Structuring, Financial Modelling and Accounting; Property valuation and appraisal;

Beneficial: Formal Credit Training; Corporate Finance & Valuation. Syndication of loans
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Required knowledge & skills: ✓ Strong analytical skills; ✓ Strong financial modelling skills; ✓ Strong real estate credit, underwriting and deal qualification skills;

Beneficial knowledge & skills: ✓ Experience in underwriting, executing and documenting financing within a financier; ✓ An understanding of financial reporting, legal / regulatory compliance, and deal structuring; ✓ A good understanding or risk management, portfolio diversification, asset management and the impact on the banks' balance sheet; ✓ Knowledge of / experience in Islamic banking.
