Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
Ensure relevant rigour is applied to monthly financial processes
• Maintain robust financial projections throughout the monthly forecast cycle and investigate any issues arising from changes in assumptions
• Understanding & reporting of Risks & Opportunities to delivering budgets and forecasts.
• Own appropriate COGS KPI reporting to drive continuous improvement.
Month End Responsibilities
• Responsible for the COGS line within the regional P&L, monitor variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on key business performance & drivers during month end. Complete the relevant B/S reconciliations and ensure all supporting documentation and reportsare up-to-date to support the Recs.
• Own the detailed Inventory reconciliation and investigate any gaps to the GL
• Maintain the Regional Stock at Risk process and help mitigate the Financial Risk associated with Stock obsolescence.
• Assist in driving theSupply chain team to deliver budget & mitigate gaps that develop.
• Assist through half year and full year external audit procedures including providing information for auditor requests and explaining accrual positions/movements within theSupply chain operation
Costing
• Understand the process of product costing for products sold in North Asia along with the governance and control of standard costs in JDE. Provide reliable and timely financial data to key stakeholders to support the decision-making process for NPD projects, customer negotiations or ad-hoc requests.
• Work closely with commercial finance team to ensure the commercial financial forecast is robust and the correct supply chain costs are being captured.
• Provide insights to the wider business into changes in CoGs and highlight any risk or opportunities identified during the costing process.
Support the broader team
• Provide insights to performance within the Supply Chain for presentation to the Supply Chain Director and wider Leadership Team.
• Support the budgeting & forecasting processes.
• Assist with Strategic projects, financial modelling, project spend tracking and any ad-hoc requests.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualifications/ Memberships:
• CIMA/ACCA Qualified/Part Qualified.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Excel &PowerPoint.
• Strong systems knowledge - notably, understanding of JDE (accounting package) and GBI (excel based reporting tool).
• Strong organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
