Senior Accountant

Barden has been engaged by a dynamic practice in Dublin city centre to identify an ambitious and experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team. You will be solely responsible for a variety of clients, with a high degree of autonomy; gaining the opportunity to build meaningful and lasting relationships. “We are looking for a motivated and eager person to join our tight-knit team; someone who is keen to have chance to broaden their experience in a hands-on, self-starting environment” ~ Partner THE ROLE Reporting directly to 2 partners, the role encompasses the following responsibilities: Preparation of Audit Exempt accounts, monthly Management accounts and Annual Budgets Preparation of Sole Trader accounts Preparation of VAT, RCT a& PAYE/PRSI returns Preparation of bank, debtors and creditors reconciliation Preparation of company annual returns Preparation of personal tax computations and returns Additional duties which arise on a regular basis General day to day office tasks Opportunity to be involved in Corporate Finance Advisory work for the right person THE PERSON Qualified Accountant with relevant experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills An ability to work on their own initiative Strong client interfacing skills Experience using Sage Accounts' production, Xero and Relate is an advantage Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel To have a confidential discussion, get in touch with  Heather Gordon  here in Barden, who would be delighted to have an initial conversation about your options in this space, or opportunities in the wider Advisory & Practice landscape.
