A fast paced financial services company with offices based in Altrincham, recruiting an Assistant accountant to join their team.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant, you will report into the Finance Manager, responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the accounts function.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: monthly reconciliation of bank accounts; processing accruals and prepayments; maintaining the fixed asset register; assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations; assist with cash flow forecasting; assist with P&L analysis to explain monthly variances; accounts payable including processing payment runs.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be AAT Qualified, or studying towards ACCA/CIMA - Essential
- Have recent knowledge of working in a varied accounts role - Essential
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
