Client Details
My client is a fast-growing SME who have made several successful acquisitions over the past few years with more to follow. To prepare for their next growth phase, the business are looking to hire a Group Financial Controller to partner the CFO and other senior stakeholders to ensure effective delivery against the agreed business plan.
Description
As Group Financial Controller, key duties will include:
- Ownership and oversight of all internal and external financial reporting
- Monthly management accounts, quarterly reforecasting, annual budgets and long term strategic projections
- Audited annual consolidated accounts and quarterly reporting
- Oversight of the annual external audit process
- Preparation of financial reporting to the Executive Team and other stakeholders.
- Provision of accurate financial information relating to the Group on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, both internally to the Group Executive Team and Board and externally to key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance across the Group with external financial reporting requirements
- Ensuring a robust and consistent Group wide internal control
- Play a key role in strategic projects including M&A activity and other value adding projects
- Lead and develop a strong finance function
Profile
To be considered for the position of Group Financial Controller, candidates must be/have:
- Big 4 / Top 10 trained (ACA/ICAS or ACCA qualified)
- Have an outsourcing background
- Proven track record detailing and understanding IFRS and UKGAAP
- Commercial finance experience including M&A is highly advantageous
- Best in class analytical skills
- Natural ability to build excellent relationships
Job Offer
A basic salary of £80,000 - £90,000 is on offer plus benefits
