As an SCT Manager, you'll build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers and support development of a portfolio of business by focusing on high impact opportunities.

You'll support bids, proposals and lead small to medium complex projects. You'll develop and document overall project findings into clear, concise, high-quality work products and act as a subject matter resource on one or more areas of supply chain, leveraging knowledge and experience to shape solutions to client problems.

Drawing on your skills and experience, you'll create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership.

Driving improvements in business processes, you'll support Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM) and make sure that project teams understand and comply with our Q&RM guidelines.

As a respected senior professional you will communicate effectively with EY engagement directors and managers and work to build, manage and motivate high-performing teams, and coach and mentor junior consultants to build sustainable competencies.

Client responsibilities:

- Participate in and, as required, lead Supply Chain engagements

- Support financial aspects of client engagements and communicate significant issues, fees, and estimates to complete to partners and engagement managers

- Assist partners and directors with generating new business opportunities and building client networks and relationships

- Understand all our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients

People responsibilities:

- Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring all levels of staff

- Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for junior staff

- Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training SCT professional

- Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skill

Sector experience:

- You will have worked in a number of industry sectors with a minimum of 5 years experience (industry and/or consulting)

- You will have experience in one or more of the following industries, Consumer Products, Retail, High Tech, Utilities, Telecommunications, Industrial Products, Automotive, Defence, Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas

Additional skill requirements

- Track record with a blue chip consulting firm

- Strong academic record including a degree
