Credit Controller / Payroll Administrator €30k Naas The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the financial control function ensuring appropriate financial procedures and practices are adhered to at all times The key financial tasks associated with this role will include credit control, the preparation, processing and inputting of financial data, ,weekly payroll, assist with implementation and effective operation of internal financial controls and maintenance of a good quality financial filing system. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: • Reporting to the Financial Controller your responsibilities will include: • Monitor and collect outstanding debtor balances in accordance with agreed targets • Weekly Payroll • Reduce debtor days in line with agreed targets • Implement best practice procedures in cash collection • Ensure that all payments are accurately allocated and processed • Maintain log of all credit control activities • Processing of requests for credits or re-issues • Produce and analyse end of month ageing reports • Liaise with appropriate staff to ensure timely resolution of queries • Build on-going relations with clients • Maintain and update a quality financial filing system. • Work as part of a team in the provision of a comprehensive finance function for Glassco Recycling • Maintain and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures • Participate in staff training and development activities as required • General administration duties. • Adhere to the Code of Good Employment Practice and the corporate ethos. • To represent the company in the most professional manner at all times. • Adhere to safe working practices and contribute to the creation and maintenance of a healthy, safe working environment. • Undertake any other reasonable duties that may be required as agreed with your manager. The ideal person must have: Good level of general education Approximately 3 years relevant experience within a similar accounts role Strong IT skills - proficient in Excel Experience of working with SAGE and Micropay would be an advantage Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ø Good organizational and time management skills An accounting qualification is desirable for the post, but not essential.
