The Group Finance Analyst will play an integral role in supporting the preparation of financial analysis and presentations for the the board and senior executives across the business.
Client Details
My client is an instantly recognisable FTSE listed consumer business in Brentford. With multi billion pound turnover my client are looking to hire a Group Finance Analyst for their group and consolidations team.
Description
You will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
* Support the processes performed by the out-sourced finance analysts as appropriate, including ensuring that any journals are reviewed, authorised and processed correctly and all centrally held consolidation journals have been processed.
* Review the monthly working capital performance for the Group and prepare reports analysing the trends.
* Monitoring and reporting on items allocated to non-core markets to ensure robust control and accuracy.
* Support the preparation of the monthly income statement report for review and approval
* Support the preparation and review of the monthly Board Report containing the Group's consolidated financial results prior to issue to the Board.
* Promote and initiate process improvements in all areas especially income statement and working capital reporting.
* Maintain strong communication with Regional and Corporate finance staff in regard to all aspects of monthly financial reporting.
* Ensure the quality and accuracy of all financial processes and analysis is maintained.
Profile
The successful Group Finance Analyst will ideally be:
- Recently ACA qualified accountant from a Top 10 Practice or ACCA/CIMA qualified from industry
- Large group consolidation experience, ideally PLC or Listed companies
- Exposure to Statutory Accounts either from audit or hands on preparation
- Able to build relationships with senior stakeholders and the ability to challenge when necessary
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse data
- Strong time management skills with the ability to delivery work to tight deadlines
Job Offer
The Group Finance Analyst position comes with a basic salary up to £55,000, plus a generous benefits package, including, bonus, 26 days holiday, share scheme, healthcare and pension
