Trainee Tax Adviser - Midleton Office FDC Tax Department Ltd believes that providing high quality tax consultancy advice across all tax heads is a key priority to support the needs of our varied client base. The roles will involve the following: Estate planning Wealth protection Structuring the succession of incorporated and non-incorporated businesses Restructuring of private companies and groups Incorporation of sole-traders and partnerships Tax computations, completing and filing tax returns Requirements (Tax Manager) : Chartered Tax Adviser and / or Qualified Solicitor with three years' relevant experience Strong technical knowledge with a focus on Capital Taxes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate technical content in plain English Ability to self-start and work to deadlines Strong project management and organisational skills Requirements (Junior Tax Adviser): Qualified or part qualified Chartered Tax Adviser or qualified Solicitor Accountant/part qualified or accountant The candidate should have either completed, commenced or have the intention of commencing the AITI examinations to become a Chartered Tax Adviser Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate technical content in plain English Interested in gaining experience across all tax heads AITI tax exam fees and study leave will be supported by the company in line with the company's policy on same Requirements (Trainee Tax Adviser): Degree in Law, Accountancy or Business or other relevant qualification The candidate should have the intention of commencing the AITI examinations to become a Chartered Tax Adviser Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate technical content in plain English Interested in gaining experience across all tax heads Salary Salary is based on the experience and negotiable. AITI tax exam fees and study leave will be supported by the company in line with the company's policy on same
