The Role
Working with cutting edge technology and playing a major role in supporting the assigned application within the Target Enterprise, the Application Analyst will be a key contributor within the Group Business Information Systems team (GBIS). Based in our Collins Street Head Office and reporting into the Head of IT Support, the Application Analyst is responsible for supporting a range of applications on behalf of Service Stream''s four business units.
Responsibilities
Resolve all issues, incidents, change requests, enhancements and development within key business applications
Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the support domain for key applications for both the end users and other GBIS staff
Diagnose and resolve technical and user identified issues or defects with predefined solutions
Perform analysis and provide advice on design and implementation activities relating to assigned applications
Effectively communicate support expectations to requestors, team members, and other business stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion
Required Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have previously held a position in technical support and/or development roles. The key criteria for the position includes:
High level of ServiceNow admin experience
ServiceNow integration experience highly regarded
Medium level of .Net and/or Java stack knowledge required
XML \ programming against XML documents required
JSON experience desirable
Database knowledge including MS SQL, Oracle desirable
MS SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer desirable
Ability to translate business requirements into suitable technical solutions
Agile framework familiarity desirable
ITIL Foundation (desirable)
