KPMG's Technology Risk and Assurance is a part of the broader management consulting team; they specialise in offering a unique combination of IT skills and business experience. They are currently seeking a Manager to join their growing Perth team, and is an opportunity that will require you to play an active leadership role in the Technology, Risk and Assurance service line.
We are seeking a team leader who is passionate about technology and risk assurance. You'll work closely with clients to evaluate their technology environment and to respond to technology risks.
Your new role :
Manage a team of up to 10 talented KPMG professionals and plan the execution of a portfolio of IT audit, risk and assurance engagements across a number of sectors including Government and asset intensive industries such as Transport and Power and Utilities
Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle while providing performance management for IT audit, risk and assurance staff working on assigned engagements
Write and present clear and concise reports and presentations containing meaningful observations and recommendations to clients, and review documented procedures performed and conclusions reached related to projects
Support proposal and business development activities by assisting in the identification of new target clients, building business relationships with key executives, and developing/presenting proposals
Provide oversight and leadership to KPMG team members regarding deliverables, project plans, and performance management
You bring to the role :
Significant experience in external IT audit and/or internal audit, with additional experience in IT risk management, project assurance or advisory preferred
Strong awareness of Cyber Security and Business Resilience good practices such as ISO 27001/2 and the Business Continuity Institutes good practice guide.
A tertiary qualification (preferably information systems and commerce or related)
Post graduate qualifications such as CISA/CIA/CRISC, CA/CPA, MBCI or a Masters degree in an appropriate field
Experience within Government and/or asset intensive sectors such as Transport and Power and utilities (desirable) with a demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, project management/delivery, and business development success
Demonstrated supervisory and team management experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
