Our client is a credit fund that provides capital to UK companies that want to expand. They're often early stage or have high growth potential. They secure the companies' loan against the assets of the business. They have a permanent capital vehicle and have done 3 successful fund raises to date. The founders and senior people are ex-bulge bracket bankers and have structured finance backgrounds.
Looking to grow further, they're looking for a Business Associate to work directly with the COO on the running of the business. The nature of the role is diverse, working across finance, compliance & operations as well as strategy.
The ideal candidate will be at least 2 years' post-qualified in a Fund Accounting role or in a similar function. The desired candidate should be self-motivated and self-starter who wants to add value.
The candidate will be responsible for operational tasks including:
- Finance (fund reporting / accounting, investor reporting)
- Compliance (docs management, MIFID project, strategy) and will provide support to the operations (loan servicing) per.
