Financial Controller

SCOPE OF DUTIES

• developing and implementing the Company's financial strategy in the UK

• supervising the preparation of (consolidated) statements and reports

• supervision and control of budget execution and long-term financial plans

• responsibility for the operation of internal audit

• responsibility for tax optimization

• responsibility for cooperation with the auditors, banks, insurance companies, investors and tax authorities, lawyers

• policy of hiring, managing, motivating and developing employees in the supervised departments

• cooperation with the external entities for and on behalf of the Company

REQUIREMENTS

• master degree in finance or accounting

• fluent English (speaking and writing)

• willingness to relocate to the UK

• minimum 3-year experience on a similar position in an international environment

• commercial and business awareness

• excellent communication and presentation skills

• negotiation skills and ability to influence others

• analytical approach to work

• problem-solving skills and initiative

• good time management skills and the ability to prioritize

• ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships

• capacity to make quick but rational decisions

• potential to lead and motivate others

• Big4 experience/ ACCA will be an advantage
