Client Details

My client is a listed retail organisation.

Description

The Internal Auditor role is field based and will be working within a great team conducting Financial and Operational Reviews.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving the following:-

  • Planning, conducting and concluding internal audit work;

  • Operational audits;

  • Financial audits;

  • Development of risk governance;

  • 'ad hoc' audits;

  • Special Investigations;

  • Liaison with external auditors;

  • Supporting the senior management team.

Profile

You'll be either a qualified or part qualified Accountant with proven accounting and audit experience.

You will be expected to demonstrate evidence of:

  • A solid understanding of audit procedures and methodology

  • A solid understanding of GAAP (IFRS and UK GAAP)

  • Demonstrable audit experience

  • Good report writing and presentation skills

  • Automotive sector experience (not essential)

  • Resilience

Job Offer
