Procurement Opportunities 1 x Fixed Term Contract 18 months. Northern Ireland Water wishes to recruit Three Assistant Buyers for its award winning Procurement Team. The successful applicants will be given the opportunity to be trained in all aspects of procurement and supported financially to study for the prestigious Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply qualification (MCIPS) The Operational Procurement Team is responsible for managing NI Water's £120m goods and services procurement activity in compliance with the Utilities Contracts Regulations and Northern Ireland Public Procurement Policy. A reserve list will be created for future roles. This is a re-advertisement and previous applicants are not invited to apply To excel in this position you will need 5 GCSEs to include Maths and English at grade C or higher. 2 A levels or equivalent Minimum 6 months' work experience within an office environment to include extracting information from a range of data sources (databases, reports, files). 6 months' experience of maintaining information sources. IT Skills - proficiency in use of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. In particular an ability to use Excel to manipulate and analyse data and to present information in a professional manner.
