Mobility/Equity Accountant - 1 year assignment -based in Drogheda Position Overview: As Mobility/Equity Payroll Accountant you will support Payroll team with regard to execution of mobile assignees compensation through the local payrolls. You will also support execution of Stocks Options, PSU's and RSU's including the preparation of reconciliations to ensure taxable compensation is appropriately handled. Each country has its own unique regulations with regard to employee's compensation and taxation of this compensation, as a chosen individual you will ensure all payroll inputs are delivered accurately and reflected correctly in the gross to net calculations. You will report to the EEA Global Mobility Tax Manager and work closely with payroll delivery team and local payroll partners in the EMEA region as well as with external partners. To be successful candidate you should have a passion for constructively challenging the status quo and exhibit a continuous improvement mind-set to drive process improvements and standardization. Key Responsibilities: Review and approve Compensation Accumulation Forms (CAF) prepared by the payroll Accounting team and ensure submission of data in line with the Global Mobility team deadlines. Responsible for accurate and timely processing of Equity compensation through the local payrolls including preparation of inputs, submission of the data to the payroll team, review and approval of the calculations provided by the payroll partners ensuring inputs are reflected correctly in the local payrolls and appropriate taxes are paid. Preparation and review of equity related balance sheet accounts across all EMEA locations in line with SPP. Preparation and reporting of monthly Equity Compliance Control to Corporate Equity team. Execution of accounting entries to reconcile over/under funding of withholding taxes to local entities. Provide subject matter expertise for all mobility and equity queries and monitor the efficiency of the end to end process, approving the payroll calculations performed by payroll partners. Interprets company guidelines, local tax regulations and how they are to be applied in the payroll calculations. Prepare analysis, audit sampling and information requests for CAD and E&Y with regard to mobility and equity process.  Ensure Sarbanes Oxley narratives accurately reflect the current process and controls. Develop and implement optimized and standardized routines, tools, and processes ensuring compliance with in-country regulations by applying Operational Excellence principles in a dynamic environment to drive effectiveness and efficiency. Communications with internal stakeholders within a multi-cultural environment, across multiple levels within the Organization.  Communications with external partners regarding Service Level, Taxation and audit matters. Assess processes, analysis of gaps and improvement opportunities to drive excellence in service delivery while ensure Sox controls as defined by the Company are embedded in the end to end Global payroll processes. Designing and implementing new processes, providing inputs regarding internal tools and payroll partners' new tools as they evolve. True influence on procedures and tools used in the payroll process What you need to be successful 3-5 years' relevant working experience in accounting and/or payroll with a strong understanding of Internal Controls, experience in mobility/equity will be a plus University / Bachelor's Degree. Qualified or actively pursuing an Accounting qualification , ACA, ACCA, ICMA. Knowledge of SAP and Excel, knowledge of Workday will be an advantage Ability to establish and define processes, interrelationships, key controls to monitor and improve processes to facilitate the efficient and effective execution of payroll delivery activities. Detailed knowledge of payroll taxes and social security regulations. Strong familiarity with Operational Excellence principles. Fluent written and spoken English skills, knowledge of other language is desirable. Strong communication skills and ability to work with people from various countries and cultures.
