A permanent role for a Management Accountant for a successful business based in Wirral
Client Details
A successful manufacturing business in Wirral, and expanding internationally, this business has several sites across the UK, has invested heavily in all of them, and has seen sales increase by double over the last 3 years. They now have an opportunity for a part qualified Management Accountant to join on a permanent basis.
Description
This role will report directly into the Financial Controller of a £100m turnover business, your role as Management Accountant will involve:
- Producing monthly management packs, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow forecasting
- Preparing annual budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis with commentaries
- Stock valuation and usage calculations
- Product and standard costing
- Control of the nominal ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Cost and cash control
- Cash flow management and reporting
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
Profile
This is a great opportunity for a candidate that prefers a hands on and results-focused role. We are also looking for:
- Strong management accounts experience
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA
- Excellent Excel skills
- IT literate with strong systems knowledge, ERP preferred such as Oracle, SAP
- Strong communication skills
- Methodical and high attention to detail
