Duties include assisting in the following: Credit Control and debt management functions Assisting with payroll processing Cash / Till reconcillation Processing and maintaining Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger Support the Accountant in the maintenance of Computerised Accounting Systems Produce management reports Provide support to Accounts Administrator and Contracts Department during busy periods Administrative duties in a busy office environment Criteria/ person A minimum of 3 years' experience within an Accounting Technician/Assistant Accountant Role An Accounting Technician qualification or similar is desirable, however significant experience within the accounts function carrying out similar duties will be considered. Knowledge of Accounting and Payroll software e.g Sage/CRM Proficient in the use of computer packages, Microsoft word/excel/powerpoint/outlook email Experience in the preparation of management accounts Experience with the management of cash flow/financial projections and credit control
