Finance Manager - Property 12 Month Contract

A leading, modern property organisation based in Central London are looking for a Finance Manager for a 12 month contract. This an excellent opportunity that will offer a vast amount of exposure and potential for permanency in a large multi-national organisation.

Our client is a global property company with over £200 billion in assets operated by 50,000 employees worldwide, they are looking for a Finance Manager for a 12 month maternity leave cover.

Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller your duties will include:

• Full ownership of the month end close tasks to consolidate client revenues, including responsibility for accruals and deferred income balance sheet accounts

• Manage the revenue recognition process and ensure it is compliant with accounting standards

• Support with the annual preparation of statutory accounts and tax packs including liaising with external auditors at annual review

• Prepare monthly management accounts including variance analysis with budget and forecasts

• Support system and process enhancements, including identifying and resolving issues affecting processes and procedures, increasing automation, and implementing best practices to maximise the business partnership role of finance

• Leading a team of 3 accountants and 2 transactional staff

Profile

The ideal candidate will be:

• ACA qualified

• Big 4 audit background

• Available on short notice
