Accounting Manager, Treasurer, Staff Accountant and Controller
Bowie Resource Partners, LLC is seeking candidates for the following positions, located at its Grand Junction, CO headquarters.
The Accounting Manager position is responsible for all areas relating to accounting functions and financial reporting. This position will be responsible for the daily, weekly, monthly accounting tasks, activities, and reporting. This position must meet tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities. Interested candidates must have a B.S. in Business with emphasis in Accounting and have 5 plus years of financial reporting experience and proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP and other relevant systems. CPA Certification is required.
The Treasurer position will assist the CFO in managing the company's Treasury and Corporate Finance operations, including the areas of cash management, debt, debt compliance, investments, working capital management and financial risk. In conjunction with the CFO, interface with internal and external parties to manage the company's treasury activities, including senior management, all divisions and departments internally, rating agencies, commercial and investment bankers, regulatory agencies, and attorneys. Interested candidates must have a B.S. in Finance or Accounting and have 5 – 10 years of relevant experience. CPA Certification is a plus.
The Accountant position is responsible for all areas relating to accounting functions for Bowie Resource Partners, LLC. This position will be responsible for the daily, weekly, monthly accounting tasks and activities. Interested candidates must have a B.S. in Business with emphasis in Accounting and have 2 plus years of financial reporting experience and be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP and other relevant systems.
The controller position is responsible for the accounting operations of BRP and all subsidiaries, and includes the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or standards. The position requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills, coal preparation, sampling, and analysis experience. A B.S. in Business or Accounting or other related field with CPA or CMA designation preferred.
